REGENERATIVE CELL THERAPY

  • Cellular Resources Used

    Umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (derived from Wharton's Jelly), autologous bone marrow (BMAC), autologous adipose tissue, and autologous blood products are safely administered. They provide clinically meaningful results with low immunogenicity and strong immunomodulatory properties.

  • Mechanism of Action

    It directs the treatment process through biological effects such as reducing neuroinflammation, increasing cerebral perfusion, regulating immune dysregulation, triggering neuronal regeneration, preventing apoptosis, and supporting axonal repair/myelination.

Our regenerative medicine applications, initiated approximately twenty years ago with cells derived from autologous adipose tissue to treat osteoarthritis and other joint pain, have subsequently expanded with the use of autologous bone marrow cells BMAC – Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate, particularly in children with muscular dystrophy. Today, this approach is widely applied to numerous neurological and systemic diseases, including autism spectrum disorder ASD, cerebral palsy CP, pervasive developmental disorders, stroke, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis MS, motor neuron disease ALS, spinal cord injuries, autoimmune diseases, and anti-aging applications.

  • Umbilical Cord Stem Cells (Allogeneic, Donor-Derived)

    These are certified, fully tested mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from Wharton’s Jelly in the umbilical cord. They are considered safe due to their low immunogenicity. They have strong regenerative and immunomodulatory effects.

  • Autologous Bone Marrow (BMAC)

    They are highly concentrated mononuclear cells (MNCs) obtained by aspiration from the patient’s own bone. They also contain some MSCs. Although the MSCs in the bone marrow concentrate are low in number, they exert a strong immunomodulatory and regenerative effect in conjunction with other cells. Because they are autologous, BMACs have the advantage of reducing potential side effects. The procedure is minimally invasive and painless under local anesthesia. Sedation is generally used in pediatric patients.

  • Autologous Adipose Tissue

    Obtained from the individual’s own fat tissue. Especially preferred for intra-articular and peri-articular applications; widely used in adult patients.

  • Autologous Blood Products

    These are plasma and cellular components obtained from the individual’s own blood. Used for systemic and local support.

In which diseases is it used?

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy (CP), pervasive developmental disorders, stroke, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neuron disease (ALS), spinal cord injuries; as well as certain autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, ulcerative colitis, and lung/liver fibrosis may be considered on an indication basis.

What are the expected biological effects?

Reduced neuroinflammation, angiogenesis, regulation of glial function, prevention of apoptosis, axonal repair and myelination, improvement in cerebral blood flow; individual response may vary depending on the patient.

What kind of clinical gains can be observed in the patient?

Increased social interaction, improved adaptation and adjustment to the environment, progress in language/communication skills, enriched vocabulary; improvement in balance, posture, gross and fine motor functions.

What are the application methods?

Local injection (intra-articular/peripheral), systemic applications (intrathecal, intravenous, subcutaneous) and supportive point applications (including acupuncture points). A personalised plan is drawn up according to the indication.

Is the BMAC procedure safe and painless?

BMAC is autologous and therefore advantageous in terms of potential side effects. The procedure is minimally invasive; it is performed under local anaesthesia, and sedation is usually administered in children.
